Hunter weaves a visual and textual narrative of the city and its iconography through the interplay of works by Gaucher, Tousignant , Sullivan and Juneau from the Gallery’s collection along with photographs, furniture, film, magazines and tourist brochures from the 1950s and 1960s. The result is a personal articulation of a place as imagined by an outsider.
