Readers:

Hoda Adra would have liked to be a carrier pigeon, but circumstances were such that words were what carried her away. Rabih Chami is a pedagogue and dramaturge. He is currently preparing his doctoral dissertation on the impact of war on the theatrical body at the Lebanese University. He has taught at the Department of Cinema and Theater at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Lebanese University, directed numerous documentaries, presented and developed cultural television programming, and worked in media training.

Muzna Dureid is a Syrian refugee who arrived in Montreal in 2016. She’s deeply involved in human rights issues and has the first-hand experience in dealing with refugees and women’s crisis. She works as a liaison officer with The White Helmets and is the cofounder of Indigenous and Refugee Movement and founder and coordinator of Women Refugees, not Captives, a campaign that aims to end the practice of forced child marriages in Syrian refugee camps.
